What changes on a private-label hat:

  • Woven label or hang tag with your brand name
  • Logo applied via embroidery, woven patch, or printed patch
  • Under-brim print (optional) with your artwork
  • Polybag, hang tag, and carton printed with your brand

What stays the same:

  • Hat silhouette, dimensions, materials, and construction
  • Production line, QC process, and lead time

If you want to change the silhouette, brim width, or any structural spec, that’s OEM — not private label. If you don’t have a design at all and need one developed, that’s ODM.
